Orchestraville is teaming up with Old 3C Records to finally release their 2005 recording, “Poison Berries.” We’re printing up only 300 copies! Of course, we’ll have the entire album available as a digital download, through our Bandcamp Site as well as iTunes, Amazon and the rest.
We’re assembling all new artwork for the LP, and pressing our records right here in Ohio at Cleveland’s Gotta Groove Records.
The digital download from our Bandcamp will include a special unique mono mix of the album, in addition to the regular stereo mix.
This should all be ready in time for our “re-union” shows in Athens (September 17 at The Union) and Columbus (September 18 at Rumba Cafe).
We’ll unveil cover artwork as soon as it’s finished. In the meantime, the tracklist:
We have released a new digital single, “Waiting for a Chance” and “Memory/Picture”.
“Waiting for a Chance” was written by Dave (who sings lead) and recorded by Dave, Chris and Keith in 2002. It was experiment time. Matt had left the band that previous fall, and they decided to try new things when they reformed as a trio. Hence, Keith plays guitar, Chris plays organ and Dave plays acoustic guitar. After numerous overdubs, the song became rather trippy. It’s long been a favorite of ours, and we’re happy that it has finally been released.
“Memory/Picture” was intended for the Poison Berries album, but was left off the final tracklist because it didn’t fit in enough with the rest of the album. It does, however, fit in perfectly with “Waiting for a Chance,” and not just because it’s another Dave-penned song. Parker Paul plays keyboards reminiscent of The Doors, and Chris adds guitar overdubs that would not be out of place on a Portishead record.
You can download both songs for $2. Feel free to stream both of them before you decide to buy. Available in MP3, AAC, FLAC or OGG.
We found a load of our debut 7″ single from 1992, back when we were just little tykes known as Norton’s Orchestraville. It features three songs: “I for an I”, “Living the Still Life” and “Arnold’s Monster.”
You can now download the tracks or buy a copy for yourself. Both are available from our Bandcamp Site.

Our new EP, “Invent the Machine”, is available now for $5. You can download it at our Bandcamp site: http://orchestraville.bandcamp.com/album/invent-the-machine
